For example, I often use the phrase, "for example." I've typed it so many times that Google Keyboard usually suggests "example" after I type "for." So, I'll be writing something in a Facebook comment, and I type "for," and then Google suggests "example," but Facebook wants to suggest something else, so "example" disappears and something else appears just in time for me to tap on it. Many times Google gets the predictions right, but a couple milliseconds before I tap the word I want, Facebook changes/overrides what that predicted word is.

This, as you can imagine, causes annoyance.įurther, when Facebook suggests a word, it overrides the word that Google predicted. I'll start a sentence, and on the third or something word, Facebook will erase the letters I already wrote of my third word. The other problem is that Facebook's predictions seem to cancel out/override what I'm writing. The problem is that Facebook's predictions don't often match my writing style, so Facebook often suggests wrong words. Recently, Facebook added a new thing to its Android app: text predictions. The problem is with Facebook, and it's starting to get under my skin.

(Motorola Stylus, to be specific) Overall, I'm happy with the text predictions that Google Keyboard supplies. I use the Google keyboard on my Android device.
